Our Services

Mangere Lawn Cemetery is one of the oldest public cemeteries in the South Auckland area.  It was opened in 1890 and the first burial took place in 1894.
Mangere Lawn Cemetery is set on a level, park like environment, offering a peaceful oasis bordering the bustling suburbs of Mangere Bridge and Mangere, north of Auckland Airport.  As a Lawn Cemetery access to a burial site is always safe and easy. ​

Our Facilities

For many years Mangere Lawn Cemetery has offered facilities to host funeral services and after funeral refreshments.  Both buildings were moved into the cemetery and rebuilt to suit the purposes of chapel and function room and still sit at their original sites.
