Rules of the Cemetery

As with most places where people gather we have some rules which ensure all visitors, contractors and staff are safe and that the rights of bereaved families are respected.

• Speed Limit: There is a 10 km/h speed limit as the cemetery roading network is a pedestrian shared space
• No Alcohol:  There is a 24hr liquor ban in place on the Cemetery grounds
• No Dogs:  Yes, no dogs
• Parking:  Please do not park on the grass (more often than not, someone’s grave), and please do not park across gateways, day or night.  Any offending vehicles will be towed without warning.  We require 24 hr access even if the gates are closed.
